This is about how you can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the Creator of the universe.
God is a perfect, holy God (Deuteronomy 32:4Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. ), therefore He cannot be in fellowship with (II Corinthians 6:142 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? ) imperfect, sinful man (Isaiah 64:6Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. ). The Bible says that light (perfectness) and darkness (sinfulness) can have no fellowship together. This creates a problem for us because we are all sinners and God is nothing but perfect. Since God inhabitates Heaven, this means we (by ourselves) can not possibly get to Heaven to have fellowship with God.
Not only can we not have fellowship with God in Heaven, but we are condemned to Hell (which was created for the Devil and his angels, see Matthew 25:41Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: ) as a result of our sinful nature inherited from our parents (Romans 5:12Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: ).
